Howzat! Year 2 Cricket Festival
On Thursday 21 March afternoon, a team of Year 2 children attended a Key Stage 1 Cricket Festival at Park House School. Alongside 5 other schools and ably supported by students from Park House, the children were introduced to four fun games to practise the skills of throwing, catching and batting. All the children participated enthusiastically in the activities. The children’s favourite game was when they had to throw beanbags onto their opponent's side. The team with the least beanbags was the winner. Our children displayed some spectacular over and underarm throwing skills. The afternoon was huge success and all the children behaved well and displayed some great sportsmanship which augurs well for the summer cricket season.
