On Monday 17 March, St Gabriel’s was proud to host the prestigious IET Faraday® Challenge Day, welcoming Year 8 pupils from Trinity School, Newbury, Elstree, and Thorngrove to compete in this exciting national STEM competition.
As part of Science Week, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic trip to Ewhurst Park near Baughurst, where they explored the wonders of Spring through a series of outdoor activities.

British Science Week 2025 was a huge success at St Gabriel’s, with pupils across the Senior and Junior Schools immersing themselves in a packed schedule of fascinating activities celebrating Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
We are incredibly proud of Harriet (Year 8) and Matilda (Year 5) Saunders for their outstanding recent achievements in cross-country running. Their hard work and talent have led to impressive results at both regional and national levels.
