90th Birthday Party Celebration
On Saturday 14 September the sun came out to shine for 600 guests, who came together to celebrate St Gabriel’s 90th Birthday Party in the school grounds.
Guests were treated to a BBQ lunch, live music and circus skills entertainment. The atmosphere was one of pure happiness and joy, whilst everyone, soaked up the afternoon sun.
A hot air balloon, on the front lawn proved most popular, with participants keen to get up, up and away to gain a unique aerial view of the School and fabulous Capability Brown landscaped grounds.
''It was a fantastic day to celebrate a very important day in the history of the school. Having just achieved our best ever examination results, to start the new academic year in this vibrant and inclusive way felt really special. St Gabriel's is a key part of the strong community of Newbury, and it was lovely to see over 600 people, pupils and staff - past and present, parents, governors, and local dignitaries, come together to share in this special occasion.”
