On Friday 6 October, we were delighted to welcome back Margaret Smith, a former pupil and teacher at St Gabriel's to open our new Sixth Form Centre in Sandleford Farmhouse. Margaret's family lived in the farmhouse and farmed the land stretching towards Newbury. When St Gabriel's moved from Ormonde House in Newbury, Margaret joined the school, initially at Falkland St Gabriel's before joining the Senior School at Sandleford  Priory. Margaret's close links with St Gabriel's also include being confirmed in the chapel (now part of the Junior School) and celebrating her wedding in Square Hall.

The Sixth Form Centre's six teaching and learning rooms are now in use, for a wide range of A level lessons, with the modern yet 'cosy' facilities already popular with students and staff alike.
