St Gabriel’s Swimmers Excel at ISA London West Gala

On Friday, a team of St Gabriel’s pupils embarked on an early journey to Surrey to compete in the ISA London West Swimming Gala.

Competing amongst the top swimmers from independent schools across the region, our students showed their dedication and talent in the pool, with impressive swims and many personal bests.

Results from the day include:

  • Matilda S. (Year 5) achieved 3rd place in her heat for the 50m breaststroke (personal best) and 6th in the 50m freestyle.
  • Elodie B. (Year 6) took 1st place in her heat for the 50m breaststroke and 3rd in the 50m freestyle.
  • Millie D. (Year 7) achieved 4th place in her heat for the 50m freestyle (personal best) and 3rd in the 50m backstroke (personal best).
  • Harriet S. (Year 8) placed 5th in the 50m breaststroke (personal best)
  • Liam N. (Year 8) came 3rd in both the 50m butterfly (personal best) and 50m backstroke.
  • Sophie R. (Year 8) took 1st in her 50m backstroke heat and 3rd in the 50m freestyle.
  • Jasmine O. (Year 9) placed 4th in both the 200m individual medley and the 100m backstroke.
  • Olivia B. (Year 9) came 3rd in her heat for the 100m freestyle.

Congratulations to all our swimmers for their outstanding achievements and dedication. Their excellent results reflect the commitment and talent they bring to their training, and we are very proud of their performances at this prestigious event.
