Feasting at the Nursery Christmas Lunch
On Monday 16 December, the Nursery was brimming with holiday cheer as all the children came together in the Pre-School room for a joyful Christmas lunch.
Babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers joined forces to share in the festive feast, making it a truly special occasion for all.
The menu was a holiday classic: roast turkey with all the trimmings, including roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, broccoli, and even sprouts for the adventurous eaters! Of course, no Christmas lunch would be complete without pigs in blankets, and the meal was rounded off with a sweet treat of chocolate brownies, which went down a storm.
Adding to the festive fun, toddlers and pre-schoolers donned the Christmas hats they had crafted the previous week, proudly showing off their artistic skills. Meanwhile, the pre-school children enjoyed the added excitement of pulling Christmas crackers, which brought plenty of giggles and surprises. (For safety reasons, crackers were saved for the older children—but the younger ones still soaked up the merry atmosphere!)
It was a wonderful opportunity for the whole Nursery to together, celebrating the holiday season in a spirit of friendship, laughter, and, of course, delicious food. A heartfelt thank you to the staff who made the day so special—what a delightful way to kick off the Christmas celebrations!
