St Gabriel’s Success at ISA Cross Country

St Gabriel’s pupils put on an outstanding performance at the ISA London West Cross Country Championships on Friday 31 January, held at Sherfield School.

With 31 pupils taking part in the highly competitive event, every runner gave it their all, demonstrating determination and resilience on the challenging course.

We are delighted to celebrate the six pupils who finished in the Top 10, securing their place at the National Cross Country Finals:

  • Matilda S (Year 5) – 2nd place
  • Elodie B (Year 6) – 5th place
  • Jonah L (Year 7) – 8th place
  • Harriet S (Year 8) – 1st place
  • Olivia B (Year 8) – 2nd place
  • Annie W – 6th place

Their exceptional performances contributed to a team victory for St Gabriel’s in the Girls’ Year 5/6 and Year 8/9 categories, highlighting the strength and depth of talent in our cross-country teams.

The pupils who have qualified will now go on to represent St Gabriel’s at the National Cross Country Finals at Mallory Park Circuit, Leicestershire, on Sunday 9 March 2025.

We wish them the very best of luck as they prepare for this exciting event!
