Field work is a key element of biology and sustainability. As part of their A level studies, our Year 12 students carried out sampling in grassland, woodland and stream habitats. They looked at the living and non-living components of the environment and used statistics to make their observations numeric. Our favourite part of both days was wading in the stream, collecting and identifying the fish and invertebrates.
