Year 6 Visit Winchester Science Centre
An exciting day exploring the world of science, technology, engineering and maths.
They began with a workshop all about the James Webb Space Telescope, where they learnt about refraction. The children got to wear special glasses that refracted visible light into the spectrum, this was fascinating.
In their free time, the children explored the exhibits and were able to learn about everything from sign language, earthquakes, all things space and even construction. The trip ended with a visit to the planetarium which was a firm favourite for children and teachers alike!
