Junior School Makes a Big Impact on Red Nose Day
Friday, 15 March 2024, was a day of vibrant colours and bold hairstyles in the Junior School as pupils came together to celebrate Red Nose Day in style. Dressed in hues of red and sporting a variety of wild and wacky hairstyles, the school was a spectacle of fun and creativity.
But it wasn't just about the fashion statements. Red Nose Day is a time to come together and support those in need, and the Junior School rose to the occasion with gusto. Through various fundraising activities, including donations and sponsored events, our school community rallied together to raise an impressive sum of over £1000 for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day—surpassing our initial target of £250 by leaps and bounds.
This remarkable achievement underscores the generosity and compassion of our pupils, staff, and families, who wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to make a difference. The funds raised will support vital community initiatives, including baby banks, community food centres, and essential services such as health workers and local youth safe-spaces.
