Harriet Qualifies for ESAA National Cross Country Championships
We are thrilled to share that Year 8 pupil, Harriet S, has been selected to represent Berkshire at the prestigious English Schools' Athletics Association National Cross Country Championships on Saturday 15 March, held at Ardingly Showground in East Sussex.
Harriet secured her place after a brilliant performance at the SE Schools Inter County Cross Country Championships at Newbury Showground on Saturday 1 February. Competing in the highly competitive U15 Girls category, Harriet finished an impressive 25th overall out of more than 80 runners. She was one of the top 16 runners for Berkshire, earning her spot at the Nationals.
Harriet was joined at the event by fellow Year 8 pupil, Olivia B, who also put in a fantastic performance. Both girls represented St Gabriel’s with determination and skill, making us incredibly proud.
Qualifying for the Nationals is a huge achievement, and we wish Harriet the very best of luck as she prepares to compete at the highest level. We look forward to cheering her on in March!
