Class 3S Rainforest Assembly
Class 3S presented an assembly on rainforests to the Junior School.
Class 3S presented an engaging and informative presentation about rainforests to the Junior School (27 January). They explained the climate of the rainforest and where rainforests can be found across the globe. Through a "Simon Says" activity they were able to teach Junior School pupils about the different layers of the rainforest and the different plants and species which live there.
The children showed off some of their models of rainforests they had made in class. At the end of the assembly, Class 3S explained how important rainforests are to our planet and how damaging it can be when large areas of forest is chopped down for palm oil. They finished with an environmental message of "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" which had everyone singing along!
A great assembly!
