Festive Cheer at Willows Edge: Year 10 Pupils Spread Holiday Joy
This week, the second half of Year 10 pupils had their eagerly anticipated visit to Willows Edge Care Home, following the success of the earlier trip this term.
The visit was a continuation of our ongoing connection with the care home, which began during last year’s Activities Week.
The pupils started their morning chatting with residents over breakfast, sharing stories and laughter that bridged generations. The festive spirit was in full swing as the students joined residents in icing Christmas tree biscuits—spreading creativity (and a little icing sugar!) in equal measure.
The visit was a meaningful experience for everyone involved. The residents cherished the company and the festive activities, while the pupils gained invaluable insights and joy from connecting with the older generation.
These visits have become a special tradition, exemplifying the spirit of care, community, and giving that defines the season—and St Gabriel’s.
