Year 7 Get Creative with Science in 3D Cell Competition
Before the end of term, Year 7 pupils showcased their creativity and scientific understanding in an exciting 3D Cell Competition.
Tasked with designing a three-dimensional model of any type of cell, students were encouraged to use any medium to bring their creations to life—provided the key components were clearly labelled.
The results were truly impressive! From cakes and cookies to modelling clay, Lego, and even a knitted cell made with wool, the models reflected an incredible blend of artistry and scientific accuracy.
The competition was tough, but after careful consideration, the winners were announced as Grace D, Mya P, and Molly R. Huge congratulations to them for their outstanding work!
Well done to all Year 7 pupils for their brilliant efforts in combining art and science. We can’t wait to see what this talented and creative cohort achieves as they dive into more scientific challenges next term.
