On Thursday 3 July, the entire Senior School came together for one of the most anticipated events of the summer term – Senior Sports Day, held at Crookham Common Athletics Track.

On Thursday 19 June, the St Gabriel’s Art Department proudly hosted its Summer Art Exhibition, celebrating the incredible work of our Year 11 and Year 13 students.

On Tuesday 1 July, pupils from Years 8, 9 and 10 at St Gabriel’s joined more than 700 schools across the UK in a record-breaking culinary challenge — a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest ever online cooking lesson, hosted by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

On Friday 27 June, St Gabriel’s Senior School took learning well beyond the classroom walls, as pupils from Years 7 to 12 enjoyed Activity Days Part II — a full day of fun, culture and adventure at destinations across southern England.

Over the weekend of 14 June, our Year 9 pupils took on their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition assessment – a real test of endurance, planning and teamwork.

On Tuesday 29 April, a group of talented and dedicated St Gabriel’s pupils from Years 8 to 11 took part in the regional round of the FIRST Tech Challenge — the world’s largest international robotics competition.

Last term, our talented Year 7 geographers immersed themselves in the fascinating topic of urbanisation, focusing particularly on the opportunities and challenges faced in urban areas in low-income countries.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 10 pupils who successfully completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition over the final weekend of April.

We are incredibly proud of Kate and Izzy (Year 10) and Sienna (Year 11), who competed last weekend at the ICC British Open Cheer and Dance Championships and University Nationals at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, as part of the Crimson Heat Tigers Cheerleading Club.

From Friday 21 March to Sunday 23 March, our Year 10 pupils tackled their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Training Weekend, embarking on a two-night expedition across the West Berkshire and Hampshire border.

On Friday 21st March, our U13A (Year 8) netball squad travelled to Warwick to compete in the Independent Schools Association (ISA) National Schools Netball Finals—a prestigious event for which they had qualified earlier in the season.
